Beige: the color that makes everything look more expensive

A lot of people might be thinking that dressing in neutrals is quite dull, boring and lacks creativity. But if styled right, neutral shades like beige, grey and khaki are not dull at all. These hues really work their magic when it comes to creating a monochromatic look and the end result can be jaw dropping and luxurious looking.

So, which are my tips for achieving an expensive looking neutral tone outfit? First of all, you need to have in mind that you can NEVER go wrong with pairing neutrals with neutrals. That is the golden rule! If you have no idea on what to wear, then you should just go for an outfit in a neutral tone. The second step is deciding on which color you want to play with. For instance, I chose beige, which is probably one of the most popular shades during all seasons. You can either mix different variations of this hue or opt for sticking with the same shade from head to toe.

Today I chose to play with three different shades of beige, which look similar, but not identical. I’ve paired a long line white button down shirt with some beige tailored trousers from Stefanel (found them on sale for no less than 10$). Pulled the look together by adding a classic masculine trench coat from Zara, which I also got on sale for 20$, don’t kill me! Elevated the minimal ensemble by adding suede mules (8$ on sale) and by accessorizing with a green suede bag and mirrored sunnies. When in doubt, go for a minimal outfit in a neutral tone. It will have a high impact! Happy weekend! x

  2. Beige is so lux and very sophisticated. I absolutely love this look, one of my favorite of yours. The trench, the mules, the trousers everything is perfection. Did you get that coat this season or last season? Need to check Zara ASAP:)
