Lately I’ve had a thing for colorful leather jackets. It all started after buying the orange one. After noticing how good it works with everything, I have decided that I need more of that in my wardrobe. Sometimes a colorful jacket feels like the perfect amount of color your outfit needs. So if you’re dressed in black and white, just like I was, and feel the need to add a splash of color, then this blue leather jacket might be the perfect addition.

As you probably know me, I have this weird habit of hoarding the stuff I love in a ton of different colors. You can imagine that I couldn’t stop myself when I saw this blue leather jacket on sale at Zara. It was only 25$, so I would have been crazy not to buy it. Ever since, I wore it on repeat with jeans, trousers and skirts. Today I have mixed it in a more ladylike outfit which cost less than 150$. All the pieces that I have used to create this outfit can be worn in a lot of different combinations, so investing in similar ones will be a wise choice.

The striped midi skirt is made of a thick fabric, which makes it perfect for the chilly autumn days. Can even wear it with thighs when the temperature drops even more. Besides that, the striped print makes it extremely versatile. It works with pretty much any top and it can be dressed up or down. For now, I have mixed it with a contrast top and a blue leather jacket. Finished the look with a pair of ankle boots, french knotted scarf, and added another splash of color with this lovely red crossbody bag. What do you think? x

  32. Zara always gets it right with their colorful leather jackets, I love them and this electric blue one looks absolutely amazing on you! One of my all time fashion weaknesses are colorful jackets, I truly am a sucker and own a bit too much, haha. Between them and faux fur vests/jackets, I feel like they have some sort of magnet that always draws me in and I feel it’s due to what you’ve said here, they can really add the perfect pop of color to any look!
