Can we wear brown and black together?

Don’t you hate rules when it comes to fashion? There used to be an old rule about not pairing brown and black together, but why shouldn’t we do that? Who comes up with those things? Can we wear brown and black together? Of course we can! We can actually wear anything we like and feel comfortable in. After all, comfort will always prime, right? We are in 2020 and such rules should no longer exist. These two go really well together.

When we went to Rome I felt like packing light, so I mainly took a few wardrobe basics with me, which meant my outfit options were quite limited, so I had to come up with some fresh outfit ideas. I had this H&M dark brown vegan leather midi skirt with me and I wanted to wear it with a jacket or a blazer. Since the weather was quite warm during our stay, I opted for my boyfriends sweater and topped the look with a black Mango blazer. Love how the outfit turned out so we snapped some quick photos on our way to an escape room. Funny story is we got off the tram 1 stop too early and decided to quickly take some photos before heading to the escape room, which was very fun! We played The Walking Dead and Chernobyl.
