The casual way to wear a sequin skirt

I can’t believe it’s been two months since we’ve visited Rome! Time flies so fast and I feel like traveling again, because the weather in Belgium is terrible. It’s been misty for the past few days and that just makes me want to sleep non stop. I might have to get a second cup of coffee to make it through the day, but in the meanwhile we can enjoy these photos from Rome, where it was much warmer. Went there at the end of November for my birthday and the weather was lovely. I could get away without wearing a coat and that was quite refreshing, considering I’ve been layering up since September. And while being there I did a little bit of shopping, because one can’t go to Italy without doing some shopping, right?! While strolling around the city I’ve found this cute sequin skirt and a fun cardigan and I couldn’t stop myself from not wearing them asap. Paired them with a cashmere sweater, heart printed stockings and some old over the knee boots. How do you like this outfit? Do you wear sequins during the day? xx

  1. Aw this cardigan is so fun!! I love it mixed up with the sequins. There is really something cool about mixing a sequin thing with knitwear or a simple cotton tee or denim jacket. I love that juxtaposition and being a little playful too. Rome looks lovely at that time of year. I’ve only gone in summer and it was about 35 or 38 degrees each day. With the marble flooring reflecting that back up a lot I was melting!

I DO wear sequins during the day and I find this to be so much fun! I love how you paired all the pieces together. Great color palette, too!
