Trending: why you should get a feminist t-shirt

At the beginning of the the year, Dior made history with the feminist t-shirt that popped up in all our Instagram feeds and Pinterest street style boards. As a normal person who overly enjoys collecting printed t-shirts, I knew I had to have one of those, or at least a more affordable version with a similar message. However, I’m really glad I could find this one in red. Got plenty of white tees, but almost no colorful one, so finding it in red was definitely a plus. Graphic tee + red = double yay.

Anyways, seeing this fashion movement emerge day by day makes me really happy. I truly believe that women should empower each other, instead of being full of hate and envy. That’s a huge no no. So as my feminist t-shirt says, power to the women of the world. Now, how can we wear these tees? Either with jeans and sneakers for a more casual look or with a pair of trousers and heels for an office appropriate version. It can even go well tucked in a skirt or why not used underneath a spaghetti strap dress. The options will always be countless. Already worn it with some high waisted gingham trousers and this time I went for something minimal. Worn this cozy look on a Saturday morning and played it simple.

I’ve been looking for the perfect pair of white jeans for such a long time, and I’m really happy I could finally find them on sale at Mango. Besides that they are made of organic cotton and the hem is just too good. I feel like an unfinished hem adds a nice detail to an outfit. So yeah, this is what I wore! Paired everything with the net bag that has been trending too and the Dior inspired red velvet slingback shoes. Funny thing is I used to find those net bags quite ugly, but after being overly exposed to them, I thought I should give them a try. Got this one for 1$, just I wish it had longer handles. How do you feel about these tees? xx

P.S. Don’t be a stranger, let’s connect on Instagram as well.

I am so happy about this movement and the popularity of these tees. After all, fashion should not be and it’s not just about nice clothes, it is about the message we transmit and maybe even the changes we can bring to the society.

To be fair, feminist shirts did exist before Dior, but there’s definitely a hype post-Dior that I love. I’m glad they’re popular. I’m glad the message is getting out and around.

Anyway, I love how you’ve styled your own shirt. It’s flawless, of course. And I ADORE those net bags. They’re so chic!
