The fail proof way to mix prints

Happy 1st of March! Spring is finally here and I couldn’t be happier about it. Trees will start blooming anytime soon, the grass will get greener day by day and hopefully the sun will shine brighter. I’ve been really tired of this cold weather, so I’m looking forward to ditch my winter outwear and switch to lightweight blazers and leather jackets. You guys know how much I love leather jackets, so I can’t wait to finally dust them off. Anyway, in the meanwhile, while we are transitioning to spring, I thought I should talk about how we can mix prints. Mixing prints might seem scary, but truth is, it’s not scary at all.

So how can we do it? The fail proof way of mixing them is to choose prints in the same color family. For instance the cashmere sweater I’m wearing has neutral toned stripes, so I had to choose a skirt in a similar color palette. As we all know, most leopard printed pieces come in shades of brown, so I clearly went for a neutral toned skirt that matched the sweater perfectly. Ended the look with my favorite over the knee boots, a brown beret and my new favorite beaded bag. Isn’t it adorable?!

I also wanted to remind you of the epic Shopbop sale, which extended till the 4th of March!!!! You can save up to 25% off with the discount code GOBIG19. And you thought the good news were about to end? Well, then you were totally wrong. The discount code applies to a large variety of products, including some of the Designer Boutique items. Check out some of their gorgeous pre-owned goods and shop them with a generous discount. I’ve been eyeing a pre-loved designer bag and I’m trying to find the courage to finally make the purchase. The 25% off discount is quite tempting. Should I get it?! xx
