According to Vogue, the mid length hemline is the hottest trend right now. As you may know, I am a huge fan of this skirt length, so I am more than happy to hear those news. If it was to me, I would buy a midi skirt in every color. So, as a true lover of red, I had to purchase this red midi skirt when I had the chance.

You might be wondering why do I like this skirt length so much, or why I don’t opt for mini ones or some different lengths. Well, this skirt works best for me. I also enjoy wearing a good mini skirt from time to time, but I tend to wear those during fall or winter. Yeah I know, that might sound weird. But, since I suffer from folliculitis (even if I am already used to it) I don’t really enjoy exposing that much of my legs. It’s not only the folliculitis, in fact I am extremely pale, so I would look like a vampire under the summer sun if I would wear a mini. Why don’t I get a tan instead? My skin is sensitive, and my tan doesn’t last too long.

As a light skinned person with green eyes, I do have sensitive skin, and I normally end up looking like Santa’s help, aka Rudolf, or even worse like a lobster. So, during winter and fall I also wear mini skirts. That’s because I can cover the affected skin with over the knee boots, and besides that they look really cool with a short dress or skirt. However, today’s post is not about that. Back to the point, I definitely love my new red midi skirt, that can also be noticed from the pictures, haha. I kept swirling like a little girl, that’s how much I enjoyed it.

Besides that, I also fell in love with this A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E red crossbody bag from VIPme. The bag came with two different chains, a golden one and a red leather one. With this in mind, I couldn’t stop wearing this little ray of sunshine since I got it. It’s the cutest micro bag I’ve ever had. The details are on point and so is the saffiano leather which is extremely durable and easy to clean.     I also prefer midi length skirts. I don’t know why. I am not tall so sometimes I tend to llok too short but nonetheless, I enjoy the feminine touch of midi skirts. 🙂
