Styling a silk scarf on my 25th birthday

Oh boy, I’m officially in my middle twenties. Woke up to a foggy dramatic landscape and cold weather, but I guess those are the perks of being born at the end of November. However, I love it. Autumn turns me into a happy kid and nothing will ever change that. Why so? Well, because everything starts looking magical, weather gets chillier and perfect for chilling on Netflix under a cozy blanket and we also get to experiment more in terms of fashion. As previously mentioned, I love outerwear and accessories and today I thought I should play around with one of my favorite accessories, a silk scarf.

Over the years, you’ve probably seen me styling scarves in countless ways. Worn them around my neck in the Parisian way, on bags, tied in my hair, styled on jeans etc. Well yeah, can’t help it. I really love scarves and I’m always looking for fresh ways of styling them. Today I wore this gorgeous Noctua silk scarf in a few ways that I hope will inspire you. Each of Noctua’s scarves embraces a connection between knowledge and art, as each scarf tells a true story. Their stories are well researched and they also feature a good mix of science, history, art and last but not least, mythology.

Their scarves are hand drawn in the USA and then made in beautiful Italy with high end fabrics. The scarf that I am wearing is called Discovery in Madagascar and got inspired by the book Il Milione, which tells the story of Marco Polo’s journey across Europe and Asia in the 13th century.
