How to wear a suede skirt like a Parisian

The effortless and mysterious french-girl style is definitely something a lot of women seek to achieve. Aside from the cliche beret and the striped blouse, the Parisian look is all about embracing our own unique style in an effortless manner. And what better way to embracing it if not by pairing a red beret with one of my favorite combos: suede skirt & over the knee boots?!

This outfit formula is fail proof and easy to pull off! Top it with confidence and a beret, and you’ll blend in the streets of Paris. Even if Bucharest is not Paris, I definitely felt like a french woman on a Saturday. Not sure if it was because of the sun or the red beret, but I really enjoyed that day! Isn’t that quite clear from the photos :)? In fact, one of the secrets to achieving the effortless Parisian style is adopting a super relaxed attitude when dressing up. Stop stressing about your outfits and start wearing your favorites and mix them in an uncomplicated manner. After all, sometimes less is more!

Took their advice and started the day by mixing textures into a fresh all black outfit. Tucked a contrasting tie neck top into my all time favorite button front suede skirt and got into these sleek patent over the knee boots. My weekend attire couldn’t be complete without the double breasted military coat, accessories and the long-lost red beret. How do you feel about the Parisian style? x
