As a professional outwear hoarder, I need to admit, that a grey coat is that one piece you will want to have on hand when you dress up for the cold weather.
There is something special about a classic grey coat, and I clearly can’t get enough of it. Worn it many times in my daily outfits, and even posted an outfit starring it before. Back then the look was almost monochrome and really masculine, but this time, on the other hand, I brought a pop of color along with some parisienne vibes. Mixed the masculine cuts of the overcoat with feminine elements such as over the knee boots and a distressed denim skirt which can be barely seen under the piles of clothes. But as mentioned a million times before, I am guilty for loving the art of layering. When I get to play with a bunch of shirts, blouses and sweaters, I am the happiest kid in the yard.
Today was one of those chilly days when I got to do what I love best. Threw on a white button down shirt which is three times bigger than my normal size and mixed it with a red cable knit sweater. Loving how red looks against grey, and it looks even better paired with burgundy, as you could see in the previous post. The outfit couldn’t be done without adding some details such as fishnet tights, a beret and of course a grey overcoat. Do I look Parisienne?
