If you were to look at some of the biggest trends of fall/winter, you’d undoubtedly spot military influences in a lot of clothing products. One of the things I love the most about this trend, besides the golden patches, is the military coat.
I eyed a couple more from different retailers, and I am really praying Santa will bring all of them to me, hehe. He should have heard I’ve been good this year. But in the meanwhile I spotted this khaki military coat while I was in London. The price was so good that I would feel bad if I wouldn’t buy it. Got this beauty for only 30 pounds, and it did a great job in keeping me warm. I’m all in for maxi coats, so finding one that looks this good at such a low price is nearly impossible. Ended up wearing it a lot since then. Even if it’s khaki it goes with almost everything from my wardrobe.
Today I styled it with a pair of khaki jogger pants and with my favorite tee. For some unknown reasons, my mother hates that tee, but that doesn’t stop me from wearing it about 7 times a week. Well, as warm as this coat is, I couldn’t go out only with a tee under it, so I threw on a basic black turtleneck sweater underneath as well. This layering trick is really useful when you can’t let go your summer pieces. Did anyone try it yet? x
