Yesterday it rained all day long, and I know it might sound weird, but I was extremely happy about the weather change. After melting at 40 degrees for the past month, finally having a little rain felt quite refreshing. Truth is, I was happy to have the chance to layer my outfit with this orange blazer. I bought it in March, but due to the tremendous heat, I didn’t get the chance to wear it as often as I wanted to. But oh well, since it was rainy, I thought I could just dust off my orange baby and add it to a rainy-day-outfit.
I don’t know about you, but in summer I feel quite uninspired. Why so? Well, because I have to stick to wearing only one or two pieces of clothing. This comes so hard for someone who adores layering. You know…an outfit will always look sleeker with a cool jacket or a blazer on top. So yeah, for the first time in the past two months, I felt like my outfit was complete again. Put on these high waisted Levi’s jeans, tucked in a vintage looking graphic tee and topped the look with the double breasted orange blazer. Even though it was rainy, I wore the kitten heel slingbacks, which matched perfectly with the blazer. I have some strange footwear choices for rainy weather, so if you bump into me on a rainy day, I’d be probably wearing furry mules, open toe shoes or slingbacks. Are you doing the same thing or am I the only one? xx
