Two more summer months and some of us feel like we are running out of outfit ideas. Being sick of the same old shorts, tshirts and skirts? I can totally relate to that as well! It’s time to try a new summer outfit formula.
After the positive feedback of the last summer outfit post, I thought I should give it a try, and start a new one. This summer outfit is suited for the chilly days. Those lovely days, when the temperature is below 30 °C. In fact, that’s what I call a perfect summer day. When it’s a little breezy and you can layer up with some light jacket, waistcoat or kimono. So, since the weather was on my side today, I took the opportunity and did the thing that I love the most. Layered!!!
Besides layering, I also mixed some sporty-casual elements with office-approved ones. With that in mind, I have to add that white button down shirts are well known for being a timeless staple, but also for being office essentials. This classic piece that can be found in any wardrobe has a modern twist, the shoulder cut out. That’s what caught my attention when I first saw it. To spice things up a little bit, I added the print trousers and layered up with the black waiscoat. Took my shades and Stan Smith sneakers, and was good to go. How do you dress up when the temperature is below 30 °C?
Also, here’s the Zaful summer wishlist I mentioned in the last post. Down below you can find a few more outfit ideas that you can try out. Starting with embroidered dresses and off shoulder ones and ending with fringed denim skirts and bell sleeve tops. What can be cooler than mixing trends and using some cool sunglasses? x
I’m wearing: Christian Dior So Real sunglasses / JollyChic white button down shirt (here) / Jollychic black waistcoat (here) / H&M print trousers / Adidas Stan Smith Sneakers / Furla bag
