After trying the denim on denim trend for the first time, I have to admit that I kinda fell in love with this mix. Chic, effortless and easy to elevate, this type of outfit is perfect to wear on a lot of occasions, Valentine’s Day included.
Not cheesy, but chic yet casual, a denim on denim outfit is a great option for spending the day with your S.O or for having fun with your girls. So, stop stressing about your outfit and wear what makes you feel most comfortable. To me, denim, over the knee boots and oversize coats are the coziest, so I had to play with these items in order to create a chic mix in which I wouldn’t turn into an ice cubes. And by the way, who said denim skirts should be worn only on spring and summer? I wore this one during spring, summer and winter, so start thinking outside the box and make use of your entire wardrobe.
Update your summer skirts with a pair of patent over the knee boots and get ready to rock the streets. Don’t ask why, but patent makes me feel a little bad ass, so you might see me wearing these beauties quite often from now on, hehe. Love their texture, and they are probably the first OTK boots I own that fit me perfectly. They didn’t get saggy for one second! So hard not to love them. Keep it casual and pair the bottom part with a denim button down shirt and top the look with a check coat. Don’t forget to chic up the look with a skinny scarf and bright accessories. x
