Without a doubt, a statement denim mini skirt can put your favorite pair of jeans to shame. However, the 70s inspired skirt can be styled in a multitude of ways.
If you’re planning to show legs during August, then you can definitely opt for a denim mini skirt. The timeless staple that fits into any wardrobe can be the best summer piece to play mix and match with. If you want to keep it casual, style the mini skirt with a bell sleeve top or a tshirt. Also, if you opt for something more sophisticated, go for an off shoulder top, or even better a pussy-bow blouse. Play with proportions, be creative and build a nice silhouette.
Well, since everything that is old, comes back as new in fashion, the classic denim mini skirt can be found under different modern styles. Most loved ones would be: patched, embroidered, distressed or frayed. Some of them even mix all those elements together. As for my skirt, I chose a distressed asymmetrical one with a raw hem. It looks great and it cost only 7$! Wore it in a casual off-duty outfit, with a white bell sleeve top and a pair of white lace up espadrilles. How do you style denim skirts? x
