Gingham off shoulder top & grey trousers

The last month of summer made me try out the picnic-friendly checks. I absolutely love embracing new trends and prints. In fact, this time I’ve tried out the gingham off shoulder top.

As promised in the last post, I’ve ditched my old accessories and came out with something fresh. I hope you will enjoy the change. Even tried out a new print, that’s how much I love every each one of you. However, I’ve had fun styling this blouse, even if I haven’t tried something similar before. The off shoulder top is quite versatile and it also looks great with a midi skirt. I don’t know why, but gingham gives me a really good vibe. It also reminds me of Parisian style and the 70s fashion trends.

As for today, I’ve styled the gingham off shoulder top with a pair of grey trousers. Besides that, I even tried out a different scarf and bag. The scarf is a little bit different than the casual french knotted ones. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to wear it. I’m still not sure if it should look like this, so your feedback would be really great. Besides that, the eye-catching element was this lovely green crossbody bag. This beauty gained a lot of compliments and caught the ladies attention. After all, how can you not stare at it?

Without a doubt, trying out a new print gave me a good feeling. It totally feels nice to get out of the comfort zone, and try new color combinations or different patterns. We should stop being afraid of the unknown, and give a try to something fresh, like mixing prints in an unexpected way. What’s the worst that could happen? x

I’m wearing: Zaful sunglasses (here)/ PoppyLovers gingham off shoulder top (here)/ Zara black scarf/ Zara grey trousers/ Musette green crossbody bag/ Platform shoes

  3. Loving how you styled this gingham OTS top. I never knew that the style stemmed from Parisian fashion, but so much does so I’m not surprised! Thanks for sharing babe, I always love learning something when reading a blog post.

  7. I love the casual and carefree look! True, it would also look good with a midi skirt. Would have more of that vintage-ish feel. 🙂
