Can you believe it’s already Friday? I have no idea when this crazy week came to an end, but I’m truly happy weekend is around the corner. I’ll be busy shooting and editing a lookbook this weekend, but I’m really excited about it. Fingers crossed everything will go fine! Anyway, now we should focus on today’s post which is all about Marriott Ghent Hotel aka the best place to stay while being in Ghent.
Have you been to Ghent? If you haven’t, I’d totally recommend visiting it and staying at Marriott Ghent Hotel while you’re there. The Hotel is located in the city center which is extremely convenient because most of the touristic attractions are nearby. In case you plan on going in December-beginning of January, the Christmas Market is only two minutes away. How cool is that?! We went by car and parked at their underground parking and then headed to the lobby where we were welcomed by Marriott’s professional and extremely helpful staff. The check in was done in no time and we were provided with the key card and a city map along with some tips of what to visit and where to eat. This was our second time visiting Ghent, so we were quite familiar with the surroundings, but it was nice having some local tips.
Took a minute to admire the lobby and then went to went to check the room which was very spacious, thoughtfully decorated and had the most amazing canal view. Other than that, the room was also equipped with a desk space, which was exactly what I need to catch up on work.
Started the next day with a delicious buffet breakfast which had plenty of healthy choices, such as different types of seeds, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals and everything else you need in order to create the perfect yogurt bowl. Of course, there were many more options to pick from, including eggs, fish, different types of cheese, milk and non-dairy milk etc. As for the drinks, they had everything you could think of, but my personal favorite was the fresh raspberry juice :).
