There are so many ways to stand out by wearing a midi skirt during the hot season. In fact, the versatile and timeless piece, will make you shine bright without puting any effort at all.
I’ve heard many ladies are afraid of this type of skirt. I’m not sure why’s that. The pleated midi skirt is really easy to pull off. Just be sure you choose one that fits your silhouette best. Besides that, opt for a cut that won’t make you look shorter. I bet you don’t want that. Other than that, no, you don’t have to wear it only with high heels. That’s just a silly myth. For instance, today I wore mine with flat silver metallic shoes. Furthermore, the other time I’ve worn it, was with Stan Smith sneakers in this post. Did I look like a pumpkin? I don’t think so. With that in mind, you have nothing to be afraid of. This type of skirt is really beautiful and ladylike. It looks good with mostly any type of blouse, so why not wear it?
Now that I have made my point, we can move on to the outfit. Yes, I’m wearing the white vest on repeat, and no I don’t feel bad for doing that. Actually I enjoy wearing it way too much, since it’s the perfect summer layering piece. Underneath the waistcoat, I’ve tucked in the beautiful lace cut out white blouse for a chicer vibe and accesorized with my favorite pair of sunglasses. So, now tell me do love or looove midi skirts? ♥
