Opening up about blogging in the previous post felt so good and I was thrilled to receive so much feedback. Got emails from other girls asking for more tips, being thankful for writing all those things and so on. Since you liked that post, I might write a few more in the same style, just let me know what topics you’d like me to approach. Now back to the outfit talk, today should be all about this gorgeous silk kimono. Isn’t it beautiful? Love how it elevates a pair of jeans and a summery top.
Since summer is all about breezy and easy to pull together outfits, I thought it was about time to try something different and work one of my favorite pairs of jeans. Haven’t worn them in a long time, but glad I could finally make them shine this weekend. Pearl embellishments have been such a huge trend this year and I couldn’t help but join the bandwagon. Started by getting pearl embellished jeans then pearl earrings followed by statement sandals and who knows what’s next?! I got no idea, but I can’t wait to find out what other pearled items I’ll find.
Jeans like this might look hard to wear, but truth is they are easy peasy to mix. Love wearing them with all sort of tops and t-shirts. Last time they were paired with a striped OTS top and now with a frilled tank and a silk kimono. I’ve been trying kimonos before, but never had a “grown up” one. You know, the festival inspired ones are cool and perfect to layer over a pair of shorts, but this one is different. It has such a gorgeous color and the embroidery on the back is so dreamy. So in case you are looking for an easy way to make a summer outfit interesting, then the right accessories and a lightweight layering piece are the things you might want to invest in.
*Hope you won’t mind the photo spam*. Enjoy! x

This kimono is truly amazing. It’s so chic yet versatile. Plus, i loved how you paired it with the top in a different shade of blue, and off course with the pearls jeans. To be totally honest, im so into the pearls trend this year.
Anyways, you also did a great job on finding that ca. It looks so cool on the pics, like it was an editorial.
Have a great day.

This kimono is bomb! I love how chic it looks and the color is really beautiful, it goes well with the golden touches! xoxo
What an effortless look. Love the kimono and the cyan tones!
Kimono’s are definitely a breezy thing to throw over in summer! I love having longer light coats and layers for covering up in summer. I generally don’t need them, but it often feels more elegant. You look beautiful in these blue tones. I love the look all together!!

Zara has often many great kimonos but I’ve never bought one because I always question myself on whether I will actually wear it or not, but you look amazing!

Yassss, such a chic sexy look, Andreea! Love the cami top, I take it is not from the latest Zara collection but old? The kimono adds such a luxurious finish to a classy outfit, and I love how you have kept the tones of the look within the blue range. And I can see you becoming a giant glowy pearl 😛 Hope you are having a great week so far, hon
