March 20th, 2017 marked my first year of blogging and it’s really hard finding the right words to express all my joy and thankfulness for your unlimited support and appreciation. Thank you for always being by my side! I love each and everyone of you. Now on a less cheesy note, as previously mentioned on Instagram, I was planning on doing a blog anniversary post with a Q&A session! Sorry for being a little late, but I could only shoot these pictures during the weekend. 🙂
Also thank you for the overwhelming amount of questions you asked over Instagram! ♥
Q:What is you go to outfit?
A:Jeans, graphic t-shirt, blazer/leather jacket with metallic shoes/white kicks and a skinny scarf.
Q:Where do you find your inspiration and amazing style ideas?
A: As a visual person, I’m dragging my inspiration from everything that surrounds me. Nature is a great source of inspiration and so is art and Pinterest. Besides that, I tend to stay up to date with the latest fashion news and I’m constantly looking for fresh ideas or new color combinations to try.
Q:Are your eyebrows real?
A:100% real, just like an owl’s.
Q:Can you tell something about editing photos? Because you are really good at this.
A:The Instagram shots are first fixed in Lightroom and then added to VSCOcam to make the colors pop a little more. As for the ones I am using on the website, they are edited in Adobe Lightroom and sometimes in Photoshop. Not doing anything drastic, just experimenting with colors, adding some grain, increasing clarity and correcting the shadows, whites and blacks if that’s needed.
Q:Who’s your favorite designer?
A: Alessandro Michele
Q:Who’s taking your pictures?
Q:If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A:So hard to say! There are so many places I am dying to see, so I will mention just a few of them: Japan, Machu Picchu, Cambodia, Hạ Long Bay, Bagan, Havana & Bali.
Q:What’s your favorite place to visit?
A:Amsterdam & London so far :).
Q:I would like to know if you’re a full time blogger? And if so, what advice can give on doing it?
A:Yes, I am a full time blogger and my advice would be to stay true, focused, never loose motivation, always look for new ways to grow, keep your eyes wide open and work work work, till you no longer need to introduce yourself.
Q:Do you have any plan to come to India? If yes, when?
A:Planning on coming to India, but I would lie to tell you I have any idea when that would be.
Q:Why you decided to become a fashion blogger?
A:Opening a blog was on my mind for such a long time. Wanted to start one since a couple years ago, but I couldn’t find the courage of doing it. I was afraid of doing things wrong, but last year things changed. After searching and searching for the perfect job, I have decided to finally open a personal style blog, where I could post my outfits and hopefully inspire other women around the world.
Q:You always loved fashion? Whose style do you admire?
A: Yes, I’ve always loved fashion and I really admire Jiawa Liu, Vanessa Hong, Leonie Hanne for their style.
Q:Who’s your celebrity style icon?
A:Alexa Chung & Rihanna.
Q:What’s your favorite VSCO filter?
Q:How do you relax?
A:By watching TV shows! I’ve seen so many of them :)! I’m currently watching Blindspot, if you love crime shows, then you should totally check it out.
Q:What is your favorite color?
A:RED. Always and forever.
Q:What countries have you visited?
A:Egypt, Tunisia, Switzerland, Netherlands, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Spain, Austria, United Kingdom and a lot more from Europe.
Q:Where are you originally from?
A:From Bucharest, Romania.
Q:What’s something you ‘d never wear?
A:Perspex heels. Would never see myself in a pair of those.
Q:What’s your favorite brand?
A:From luxury brands, I would go with Gucci and from the high street ones my top picks are Mango, Zara, Massimo Dutti & Stefanel. Sorry, I couldn’t pick just one :P.
Q:Where do you see yourself in the future?
A:On a plane, traveling the world.
Q:What’s your favorite song?
A:Ty Dolla $ign – Or Nah ft. The Weeknd, Wiz Khalifa & DJ Mustard
Q:What’s your next travel destination?
A:I was planning on going to Japan next, but the trip had to be rescheduled, which means I have no idea about where I am headed next, haha. I will probably end up visiting some countries in Europe.
Q:What is your favorite trend/s? What are some that you regret trying?
A:In love with reconstructed denim, stripes, bell sleeves, metallics, dramatic tops and probably everything ruffled. As for what I regret trying…uhm that should be a balloon sleeve top, which made me look like a clown.
Q:What’s your favorite bag in your collection?
A:As I adore red, I’d have to say the Furla Rubino Red Metropolis Bolero shoulder bag is my favorite, but the Prada Saffiano Lux Borsa a Mano also has a warm spot in my heart.
Q:What do you feel has helped the most in growing on Instagram?
A:Creating interesting visuals and engaging with alike accounts. Instagram is a community and interacting with the people in there helps a lot!
Q:Do you have a short term and a long term goal planned?
A:Always having goals! The short term ones are changed on a monthly basis, but the long term one stays the same :).
Q:What are your favorite poses?
A:Those in which I don’t look like a dying whale/potato. Kidding, I enjoy posing from the left side.
Q:Favorite travel essentials?
A:Portable battery charger, laptop, camera, white sneakers, classic bag & trench coat, dark chocolate, lots of gum, hand cream, hair clip & lip balm.
Q:What is the most difficult part of blogging?
A:Making time for everything. As I am working solo, I have to take care of everything which means, doing SEO, editing pictures, videos, answering to emails, taking care of all the social channels, staying up to date with trends (not only fashion ones), copy-writing, doing photo shoots, fining similar items to those I’m wearing and the list goes on. Sometimes I find myself so covered up in work that I’m not even leaving the house and spending the entire day in front of the laptop. But I’m not complaining! I love what I’m doing and that keeps me going every single time! Also reading the nice messages I get from my readers pushes me to work harder and harder all the time.
Q:Where do you get all those cute sunglasses?
A:The red sunglasses (aka the most used ones) were from a Chinese website and they are like the cheapest ones in my collection(2$). I also found a cool pair in a vintage shop in London, as for the rest they are designer sunnies or on trend ones I found in fast fashion stores.
Q:How do you plan your outfits? See how you feel on the day or do you plan it ahead?
A:My day to day outfits are planned depending on where I have to go/how many hours I have to spend out and a few other factors. As for the outfit post ones, they are planned with one day in advance of shooting.
Q:What is your favorite food?
A:Spicy falafel & hummus.
Q:What’s your age?
Q:What keeps you going?
A:The lovely messages I receive! It’s really nice hearing you inspire other people.
