Can you believe it’s almost been a month since we last shot?! It was really great having a big stash of photos to edit and post over the past few months, but now it’s time to get back in the game. And oh my gosh, we are only two days away from February!!! Man, time passes way too fast. Valentine’s Day is slowly approaching and I believe I should start working on a cool post for that ‘special’ day. Let me know if you would like an outfit post or a gift guide for him/her? However, I suck with men gifts, but I promise I’ll do my best in putting a list together if that’s what you need :). Anyway, back to today’s post, we took these photos on a lazy Sunday when it was all warm and nice. It felt great walking around in the sun and not freezing for once. It’s been a while since it was this warm, so we had to take advantage of it and shoot some photos. During our stroll we found this cute lil London telephone both which made the perfect backdrop for my black outfit.

I usually don’t wear black because I find it boring, but here are a few tips to make an all black outfit look less boring:

1. Play with different textures; check my outfit, I’m wearing a vegan leather mini skirt which is paired with a thin wool sweater and a wool coat.
2. Accessorize; you don’t have to go crazy on necklaces like I did, but you can play around with chunky rings, sunglasses, hats etc.
3. Statement stockings; we all know logo and printed stockings have been trading for quite a while now, so get your hands on a pair and rock it.
4. Layer up.
5. Add some red lipstick.
