The feminine lace dress been featured on the catwalk season after season, which proves that the trend isn’t going anywhere. Even if summer is about to end, you can still wear your favorite white crochet dress, or shop it in different colors. In fact, red and emerald ones can look absolutely stunning.
As you may know, lace was invented by french people and it was embraced by Queen Elizabeth I, which was spotted wearing lace goodies with huge frills and over exaggerated collars. The lace game was going quite strong in the 17th century, and kept ascending over centuries into couture items and fast-fashion products. Nowadays, the trend was translated into numerous lace creations, varying from lace dresses to lace crop tops and a lot more.
No matter what your personal style looks like, there are a lot of different styles that are perfect for the the edgy rock chic, but for the ladylike one as well. By now, you probably know I’m not really into ladylike dressing, but I don’t mind doing it from time to time. So mixing this gorgeous embroidered lace dress with a raw hem denim jacket was a fun thing to do. The jacket along with the strappy sandals gave my outfit the edgy vibe I was seeking for. Finished the look with a pair of retro inspired red sunglasses and a white bag for a day-to-day outfit. How do you style yours? x
