When I first saw this pair of white flared jeans I wasn’t sure if to buy them or not. All I have to say now, is that I’m really glad that I bought them. Not regreting the purchase at all.
I was in doubt because they are not the type of jeans that I usually wear. As you could see so far, I enjoy a good pair of boyfriend jeans or distressed skinnies. So, a pair of white flared jeans were a little bit uncommon for me. However, I have decided that I should give them a try. There’s no point of being afraid of new trends, should always embrace them if they fit our style.
As everything else, they have some pros and cons. The pros would be that: they make us look slimer. Ain’t that cool? Besides, they elongate your legs, which makes them perfect for the petite ladies, but also for the taller ones. With this in mind, they give the effect of legs for days. Also, they can elevate your look. Now on the other side, the cons would be that they can be mostly worn with high heels. At first I tried to wear them with a pair of platform shoes, but they were still too long. So, in order not to clean the streets with them I had to switch the platforms for high heels. Those would be the only pros and cons that I found so far.
As for today I wore them with a lovely striped ruffle top, that can be tied in the back. I opted for something different, and I tied it around the neck as a scarf. Layered with my favorite white vest and I was good to go. That vest is like the missing piece of the puzzle. It puts all my outfits together. I bet you could notice that I am obssesed with it. So ladies, did you try the flared jeans trend yet? x
