How to rock a pair of gingham trousers

There’s no secret I’ve been obsessed with anything checked lately, from off shoulder tops, to dresses and gingham trousers, I love them all. Might have tried this print in almost any form (apart from shoes/bags), but so far, from all the checked pieces I’ve worn, this pair of trousers was my absolute favorite. Styled them with so many tops and shoes I can’t even remember.

However, on Sunday I went for something casual and paired the high waist gingham trousers with a very on trend tee which I knotted (after 42342342 tries, I finally figured out how to do it, guess I deserve a cookie now). Finished the look by stepping in the most comfortable sling backs ever and as usual, I couldn’t stay away from wearing a hat. There are over 40 degrees outside, can’t just get out the house without wearing my beloved boater. With other words, you’ll have to bare with me and my hat all summer long, hope you won’t mind :P. So yeah, this is how I rocked the gingham trousers on a casual weekend. Love them so much for being highly versatile and also for that high waist, which can hide a food baby.

Totally off topic: Also wanted to point out that we should stop being so shallow and start enjoying the little things more. After all, the small things in life make us the happiest. Those small things can be disguised in anything like gelato, or enjoying the company of our friends instead of being on our phones all the time and being overly connected. Having a picnic or just buying a Winnie the Pooh balloon and fooling like a kiddo can be quite enjoying as well. In fact, getting that balloon brought back beautiful childhood memories. Lots of kids were passing, staring at it and wishing to get their hands on it, haha. But yeah, we should all take a minute and ask ourselves what makes us the happiest. xx

P.S. Don’t be a stranger, let’s connect on Instagram as well.

  11. I am once again amazed at how beautiful your pictures look, babe. It’s like reading a magazine, you totally rock the checked high-waisted trousers and the hat just adds the final touch to your outfits (that, and your cute straw bags ;)) – I have been stressing a bit less about IG lately as find myself exhausted at times, my eyes literally itch, so yes, logging off and meeting some friends for a pint. Hope we can meet one day and connect IRL 🙂 Enjoy the weekend, beautiful!
