Happy International Women’s Day!! How was your day so far? Do you have any plans for tonight? I won’t be doing anything special, just Netflix and chill, so I hope your plans are a little bit more exciting than mine :). Other than that, I’ve been editing the photos we took in Belgium while the weather was still quite cold, so you’ll probably see a few more transitional weather outfits till I get to shoot some new spring looks. Now let’s talk about the neon trend. Is is worth trying? I’d say yes. As I previously mentioned, at first I didn’t like this trend at all, but I thought I should give it a try.
Electric colors might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you wish to try the trend then you should have the following things in mind:
- Pair the trend with basic items; ex: a chunky neutral knit, a classic trench coat or a plain white shirt.
- Color blocking; slime green works really well with blue. Mix a neon green item with your favorite denim pieces and your outfit will look on point.
- Pay attention to details; keep things minimal and accessorize accordingly.
- Have fun! xx
I’m wearing: H&M sweater (similar here) | Topshop skirt (similar here) | Zara boots (similar here) | JW Anderson bag (on blue here)
