Since we are a few days away from autumn, I thought we should figure out how to deal with the weird stage between the end of summer and onset of fall. In fact, dressing up during this time of the year might be tricky, but as long as you pile up on transitional pieces you will be fine. Layering will slowly turn into your new best friend, so start dusting off your favorite leather jacket.
These last days of summer can be the most unpredictable ones when it comes to the weather forecast. In fact, dressing up can give you headaches for a couple of days, but if you have a bunch of transitional items in your wardrobe, like a leather jacket, trench coat, blazer, or a bomber jacket, then they will ease your fall transition. Now let’s be honest, who didn’t miss wearing their favorite leather jackets? I definitely did! With this in mind, I have selected a few ready to shop picks, that I adore: here, here, here, here and here (well and a lot more when you scroll through the post). The struggle of not ordering all of them is real.
If you didn’t get to wear all your feminine off shoulder tops and skirts yet, just like me, then don’t worry you can still wear them as long as you layer with a jacket, coat or blazer. Today it was quite rainy in Bucharest, so I wore a red maxi skirt, belted a striped off shoulder top and layered with a jacket. As for the shoes, I wore a pair of burgundy strappy sandals to finish the outfit. What’s your favorite transitional wardrobe piece? x
