The utilitarian style has been going strong this year and I’m quite fond of it. Fashionable yet practical, the utility trend consists of pieces such as boiler suits (who would have thought those would ever look fashionable?!), sleeveless shirts, combat jackets, dresses and shirts in earthy tones with pockets and a bunch of other cool items. Most of the utility inspired pieces are laid back, but with a few accessories they can be easily dressed up. Today I’m wearing a beige maxi utility dress with contrasting bows and I’ve decided to make it look chic by pairing it with some feminine summer shoes and romantic accessories. Finished the look with the biggest straw hat in my wardrobe and paired it with this fun tote which is also perfect for traveling. You won’t believe how much that bag can fit! Are you into the utility trend? xx
P.S. Don’t be a stranger, let’s connect on Instagram as well.

Love, love this outfit. I wear my utility dress quite similar too. With black Ganni kitten slingbacks that tie around the ankles like your wedges. And some pearls in my hair.
